JOHN MILCE
Managing Director

John offers extensive experience of both I.T. and Recruitment. John enjoyed a long and successful career in the Information Technology unit of BNSW / Westpac Banking Corporation between 1973 and 1992. His successes included initiation and management of several overseas recruitment campaigns in addition to managing relationships with local recruitment agencies.

Following Westpac, John worked for an IT Recruitment Agency for four years where he successfully placed I.T. professionals both here and overseas. In 1996 he joined the Tangent Group as Manager of their Sydney recruitment division. John subsequently bought the business, renamed it Sherborne Consulting and is now the sole proprietor. He is very much a 'hands on' Managing Director, and still personally handles both contract and permanent recruitment assignments.

John is highly regarded within the industry for his ability to consistently 'deliver the goods' and his uncompromising approach to honesty and integrity.

He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management and a Board member of the Information Technology Contract and Recruitment Association (ITCRA).

HALINA MACQUEEN
Senior Account Manager

Halina MacQueen is recognised in the IT recruitment industry for her successful associations with many large Australian corporations, some spanning the last 20 years.

Halina's career in IT recruitment began in 1984 at a boutique operation where she spent the next decade developing their customer base to include large corporates, and recruiting and training account managers.

In 1994 Halina was headhunted by a rapidly growing software development consultancy to take their embryonic recruitment division and grow it to support and complement their professional services and education divisions. She was hailed for her efforts in developing a profitable division within the corporation.

Halina has a BA in Political Science and a Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management.

"We start this at the level of the individual and take it right through t o the community level - in the organisations and charities that we sponsor."

ROSANNA CABUNGCAL
Account Manager

Rosanna has over 15 years experience in IT both here and overseas. She has held various roles including recruitment, sales, marketing, and training. Prior to joining Sherborne Rosanna was a Resource Manager with a Sydney based consulting company. She has several years experience in offshore recruitment, serving multi national companies such as IBM, Oracle and Microsoft.

Rosanna has a Masters Degree in Communications and took up her Bachelors in English in the Philippines. She has a Certificate of IT Manpower Capability from Curtin University in Perth.

Rosanna enjoys her role in Sherborne saying, "Working with Sherborne enables me to further my career in Recruitment, with people like John and Halina generously mentoring people like me. Work isn't a drag when you work with people who foster great Teamwork"

Syd Phimmachanh
RESOURCE CO-ORDINATOR

Syd is a Bright and Bubbly new-addition to the Sherborne Team. She is very passionate about Recruitment and always strives to find the right role for her candidates.

Her main goal is to develop into a leading Account Manager in applying the knowledge and experience she has gained from her current mentors, John Milce & Halina MacQueen.

To date, Syd has had the opportunity to work on a variety of different accounts, this has allowed her to build strong working relationships with corporate clients and candidates across the IT industry.

She also gained a strong marketing foundation through previously working as a Manager with a National Media & Telecommunications Organisation.

She is currently working towards completing her degree in Sociology and is also enrolled in the ITCRA Certified Recruitment Professional Program.

The Account management team is supported by Office Manager, Steven Milce, and Admin Assistant, Ellenor Torrado
