Referral rewards overview
Sherborne Consulting now offers registered users referral rewards or finders fees.
These are a way of rewarding a member for referring a friend or colleague not currently registered with Sherborne Consulting to a job they have seen advertised on the Sherborne Consulting site.
Why we have referral rewards
Sherborne Consulting strongly believes in the value of social networking. We believe, by leveraging your networks, you have the ability to recommend your friends to jobs that they might not be aware of.
This is great for them, great for you and great for the advertiser. Everyone wins with JOB Referral because this is a vehicle for getting talent into the best jobs even if they are not actively looking.
Referring for rewards
- Sherborne Consulting must register a job as having an applicable referral reward. This can take the form of goods or services or cold hard cash.
- If a job has a referral reward applicable, the following red button will appear alongside the ad:
When you click on this button, you will also be able to review the terms and conditions of the referral which will specify the reward.
- A member will decide to refer a friend or colleague etc. by using the referral button on the jobs page.
- The person who the job is referred to will receive an email including the referrer’s message and the job details.
- All referrals will be recorded on the members account.
- Should the person who receives the referral be successful in their application and be placed in the role, they need to advise the person who referred them the job.
- The referred person needs to complete their probationary period for permanent placement or a minimum of 3 months for a temporary / contract assignment
- Full payment has been made by the client.
- The referrer then contacts Sherborne Consulting to collect their referral payment or goods and services to the value of the advert.
Tracking your referrals
When you are logged in as a member, you will have access to a link on the left hand navigation ‘My Job Referrals’. This area will list all referrals made. You can keep track of them from there.
